Desiree Whitehead is the CEO of Howl Marketing and a frequent speaker at the leading marketing conferences in the country for industry giants like HubSpot, Black@INBOUND, 43North and more. Howl Marketing focuses on B2B Growth for clients and finds new ways to help companies achieve positive ROI. She has dedicated the last 20 years perfecting her knowledge in everything from email marketing to social media and loves to share her talent to empower others.

Early in her career, Desiree identified that businesses struggled with marketing execution. As she dug in to understanding why, she identified 3 trends:

  1. Companies didn’t understand what marketing should be doing or the value that marketing efforts could deliver
  2. Marketing decisions were being made without data and analytics
  3. Teams were using antiquated tools and techniques

Desiree wanted to help these businesses and by showing them the true power of marketing. To date, she has worked with thousands of clients to help them achieve positive marketing results – driving pipeline, increasing conversions and ultimately adding top-line revenue.

Prior to founding Howl, Desiree worked as a Director of Digital Marketing for Nationwide Move Management. There, she launched a complete redesign of the company’s website and associated landing pages which led to a 21% increase in on-site conversions, and a 16% increase in visitors in just 12 weeks. She also implemented a restructuring of a $3M+ pay-per-click account that increased ROI by 4.8% within one year.

Desiree is active in the community and takes pride in helping other black and brown businesses realize their full marketing potential. She is a frequent speaker at marketing conferences and events headlined by powerhouse companies such as HubSpot, 43North Summit, and Black@INBOUND.

She has a Masters and Bachelors of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Florida International University and countless marketing certifications.
